huh...imagine that...will ferrell was good in a movie
we rented 'melinda and melinda' last night. the movie was ok, not great, but good enough. but i was very impressed with will ferrell, he was actually really good in his role...i swear he was channeling woody allen (it's a woody allen movie).

but this doesn't mean that i'm going to start watching his craptastic comedies

3. Yes. And Woody Allen offends it.
I saw 'Annie Hall' and felt it was overrated. The only funny part of the whole movie was the bit with Christopher Walken.

7. i saw sleeper, and i liked that one. what i saw of bananas i liked.
i like those movies better. less about allen's personality and more about being funny.

12. yeah, i can't stand his personality. i mean...
his material is good. i had to do a monologue from 'annie hall' for drama class in high school, and i loved it, it was beautiful. i totally agreed with it.
but coming out of allen, i just want to punch him in his simpering face.

14. Annie Hall is easily one of the best films of the 70's
Certainly the best American film of 1977.

See also Hannah and Her Sisters and Husbands and Wives. Both are excellent.

18. Well then your book sucks, you owner of sucky books, you!
In addition, it's one of the smartest American comedies of all time.

You need to get a new book.

Actually I've never seen it, so I don't know whether it deserved to win or not. Still...

23. For a long time I was bitter about it, too
But Annie Hall really does hit it out of the park, Elrond Hubbard notwithstanding.

8. It was like such an easy burn just staring me right in the face.
So easy it would be like kicking a puppy to actually go for it.
