Good Vibes for my coworker, please.

He's in the hospital having a toe amputated because it has gangrene. He's not diabetic, which is apparently the way this type of thing usually happens. We don't know what caused this. It seems like it happened very suddenly.

He's a pretty good guy most of the time. I hope he's doing okay. Whatever caused this, I hope they find a way to make sure it doesn't happen again.

6. It is definitely weird.

He had a problem with his knee, and he was in Physical Therapy. We never heard about any problem with his foot until one day he's out sick, and the next day he's in the hospital.

He's one of the people who gave me a hard time about being a vegan, and insists on having company dinners at steak houses. But despite that he's a good person.

He's recently married. He as his wife were going to be on vacation next week in Mexico. If all goes well he might still be able to go. It would be a shame if they have to cancel at this point.

8. If so, I don't know if he knew about it.

He had been in Physical Therapy for a few weeks for a knee injury so I'm assuming he wasn't totally oblivious to stuff happeninig to his body.

He doesn't have any kind of Neuropathy that he's ever mentioned, so he should have felt it if nothing else. Based on his starchy diet I'm positive that he's not diabetic (or wasn't, unless that's another very recent occurance). :(

We've been talking at work all day today, wondering and speculating, and hoping all goes well. He's well liked by everyone.
