1. It's hard to beat a lot of jazz on vinyl...
...digital just doesn't quite crack it.

10. I like to call it
Warm, as well as Musical and Lush.

I agonized over my choice of table, tonearm, and cartridge, as well as Phono amp to get this wonderful sound.

A cd will never compare.

7. I can think of a few things:
1.) The invention of flour: Somewhere someone looked at the tall grass and thought "We should totally take this and grind it up to a fine powder and then we can eat it!" That person is arguably the greatest genius in history.

2.) Marijuana: Somewhere someone looked at shrubbery and thought "We should totally take this and smoke it. It totally fucks you up!" That person is arguably the greatest genius in history.

3.) Alcohol: Somewhere someone looked at the jug of moldy sugar water and thought "If we take this and drink it, I bet it would totally fuck you up!" That person is arguably the greatest genius in history.

Who is Diana Krall?

13. All also good choices:
the invention of LSD, creation of written language, invention of agronomy, modern sanitation, invention of agriculture/end of the Malthusian dilemma, invention of algebra, Phonecian alphabet and Arabic numeral system, the Roman arch, celestial navigation,...

Still...who is Diana Krall?

14. I'd argue... Emmy Lou Harris
"Quarter Moon In A Ten Cent Town" on a MFSL half speed master.

Pure. Audio. Heaven.
