Why do people think I really need to have a bob?
I asked for something like this:

And what do I end up with?
A fucking bob:

I want one of those choppy short cuts, but everyone keeps saying, oh no, girls who have round faces shouldn't get a hair cut like this:

Or:

Whatever. I'm sick of my hair, and I want something I can fix easily and not have to spend three hours blow drying it.
UGH.

1. Looks cute. But if you want it more spiky you could probably go back
to the hairdresser and ask them to update your do. Bring a picture too.

2. I did.
And when I said it wasn't what I asked for, she said that it wasn't her fault I was having a bad day and to not take it out on her. I was like, Look, you're the reason I'm having a bad day! Course I didn't say that. I'm a complete wimp.

5. I'm a wimp too. I never mix it up with people even if they start it. Real nervy
of her to say you were having a bad day. Perhaps that is her standard answer for when people don't like her haircuts.

It looks great by the way.

3. FIrst one is probably not as easy to fix as you may think
I'm thinking with hair like mine, it would take more time to get my hair to look like the first one than to fix a simple bob. Perhaps that's true for you too.
The girl in the second photo has thin hair or at least thinner than yours, I'm pretty sure. I've had my hair that length and the back would never lie flat; you can see that it's kind of funny looking behind her left ear. So that style can take time.
The last hair cut is awful, IMHO. It looks like Annie Lennox 20 years ago.
But you are right that the cut you ended up with is not what you asked for. If the stylist was going to modify it so that, in her opinion, it fit your face, she should have said something first and given you a choice.

4. I think those cuts would suit your face really well.
I think they're razor cuts. I have a hard time finding stylists that will use a razor.

6. you need product.
I am not a hair-fixing girl but I have a friend whose hair is so amazing that I will share her secret. She uses this cool product called Hair Fabric and she can get her hair to do literally anything.

Give it a shot. It can't hurt. And with a cut like the one you have, there are lots of options. Plus it looks darling the way it is. :)
