Kid Hollows Out GAME BOY - Fills With GUNPOWDER - Takes To School
:eyes:

<snip>

A Livingston Junior High School student is in police custody today, after fellow students called Crime Stoppers to report he had a homemade bomb at school Thursday.

The student, whose name is not being released because of his age, hollowed out a Game Boy and filled it with gunpowder, Livingston police said.

But when the student bragged about his invention, another student called Crime Stoppers to report the device, police said.

3. You know, I gotta say...
I played with a lot of explosives as a kid. I read and read about the chemistry of it all, and found it fascinating. I built some stuff that would get me thrown in jail these days... I recall one incident where I was about fifteen seconds away from losing most of my chest cavity from a little number I had carried around in my shirt pocket. Took off my shirt, threw it on the bed, and BOOM! ... blew a two-foot diameter hole in the mattress.

I never felt like I had to bring any of it to school. :shrug:

4. Polk County scares the shit out of me
My uncle lives in Livingston, and he's a total right wing loony. Lives out in the forest near a garbage heap and has an extensive firearm collection. Also keeps his earnings hidden somewhere on his property where Uncle Sam can't tax him (he's self employed).

Polk County is too Deliverance for me.

6. The place where Cabeza de Vaca spent several years wandering around
on his way back to Mexico. I couldn't imagine that, even with all the rednecks gone. The woods themself are enough to drive a man insane.
