Re: Creationism in schools, SNL news calls dinosaurs 'Jesus Horses'
I'm trying to find a direct quote. It was from the news part of the show. Jimmy Fallon was telling a story about starting to teach creationism in schools...I was only half paying attention, but I turned around just in time to say they were now going to explain the existence of dinosaurs by calling them 'Jesus Horses'.

It was SO freaking funny..but I'd like to be able to quote it correctly if anyone else heard it. Thanks!

I loved Tina Fey's dig on *
She was saying how a new study showed that walking 5 times a week seems to increase brain function.

*pause*

*cut to picture of Dumbya jogging*

Then she adds, "But, apparently, jogging does not."

The audience erupted in applause.

1. I heard that too but I don't remember the exact quote...
I think it was pretty much just reporting the straight news story about some location starting to teach creationism in school alongside evolution. Then he said, in other news, Dinosaurs will now be referred to as Jesus Horses.

2. Hopefully, the Daily Show has shown SNL they have some competition...
in the fake news department. This past Saturday nights news was the funniest and most political I've heard in a while.

3. Flirty fishing for Jesus.
They'll use Jesus to explain everything. Years back they actually convinced children that they were working for Jesus when they sexually gave themselves to non-believers in order to convert them. It was called Flirty Fishing. And now we have Jesus horses to explain away a major discrepancy in creationism. These people are nutters.
