Update on my daughter thread #2
My daughter was confirmed as having Staphylococus Scalded Skin Syndrome and is indeed over the worst.

She is receiving the correct antibiotic and is recovering now.

It will take awhile for the skin buns to heal.

Hopefully, she will be able to return home within about 2 days.

Thanks for everyone's karma, prayers and diagnosis help...

You guys were spot on!

We are a real community and at times like this, you can really feel it.

Thanks for everything!

5. My heartfelt symphathies to you and your family. Both of my daughters
have a plethora of skin problems, including ezcema, moluscum, and chronic recurring staph infections. I am constantly telling them not to scratch, but I know they can't help it. It is heartbreaking.

A good source of information I have found is the NZ Dermatoligical Society.

I guess I missed thread #1. I'd be curious to to know what was said there.

Take care.

6. Fantastic..............
give the little one a kiss for ole' DumpGump. When your child hurts a parent feels it too, you just ache for them, I know. I hope you're getting some rest now and that everything turns up roses for you and your family.

7. Great news JCMach1 !!!!
Times like that when there are more questions then answers are obviously very stressful, but a little patience has given an answer, and the cure is on board!
Great news for a Monday morning.
