I just got back all the federal taxes (30 per cent) they withheld from my Jeopardy! winnings, because I'm not a US citizen. Nice chunk of change (well, 15 per cent of it went to the lawyers who looked after it, but 85 per cent of $55K is better than 100 per cent of nothing). Now I'll go after California for the seven per cent they took.
