I got woke up by a raccoon!
It was eating my cats food. Making a bunch of noise. Boy they are ballsy. It kept going in and out of my cat door. I'd turn on the light and it would go out. Then the minute I went back to bed, it would come back in. So I'm just staying up. It was pretty cute though. Except for it's hands. They looked deadly.

1. My grandma had a pet racoon growing up....
I hated that little fucker! She'd steal my cookies and hide my stuffed bear, of course she wasn't as bad as the crazy toe loving duck or the nasty nanny goat, they did actual physical damage....

perhaps I should have posted this in the "things that traumatized me as a child" thread :hi:

4. Raccoons can do some serious damage to beloved kitties with those claws
I hope that you've got catfood elsewhere that the kitty can eat so there's no confrontations. Personally, I think I would block the catdoor and let the Raccoon stay out in the wild - as an outside pet.
