Did anyone watch "The Practice" tonight?
I was sitting there, playing solitare and not paying much attention to the show, when out of no where I hear someone on the show say "George Bush is a great man" I was stunned! Fortunately it turned out to be the comments of a slow thinking red-neck type character who was dismissed off of a jury, but I just could not get over the mix of emotions I felt when I heard that.

1. I was watching it, but I knew where they were going with it...
The case involved adultery, so I knew when he got the juror to say W was a great man BECAUSE he was President, that he'd be asked what about Clinton, and that would rule him out as a juror.

2. I guess it just took me by surprise
I wasn't paying that much attention to it and all of a sudden BAM! "George Bush is a great man." Those words in that order will blindside you if you're not careful.

4. Sean Austin must think that being a Proud Democrat means
Sean Austin must think that being a Proud Democrat means praising a Republican President who wants to build mini-nukes and who gives tax-cuts to the rich and cuts housing-vouchers for the poor.

It's a strange definition of "Proud Democrat."

5. Being a regular watcher of The Practice
I knew it was just another shot at Bush. They do that all the time. The thing that upset me was there were no previews, which usually means the show won't be on for a couple weeks, and I'm completely hooked on the current storyline.

7. It is a good storyline
and I like the newer characters on the show better than the original cast.

and I did a double take when I heard that too.
It made me wonder how many people in our country share the character's opinion. It creeped me out!
