3. Streaming is not the problem.

I know how to manage to get Mike streaming on the net...

It would cost about $150,000 a year to pay Mike & Kathy and provide (poor) health insurance. About another $25,000 for a decent studio for them to work from...

Now, if I could get about 600 people to pony up $20 a month for this, we could do it.

But, look at all the grief Guy James is having trying to raise $3500 a month to cover his streaming and air costs! He only needs 175 people at $20 a month, and he is nowhere near close to what he needs to bring in.

We have 40,000 people here at DU, but they just don't seem to want to pay for Liberal Radio.

$25000 for a home studio? Or is that the cost to rent space?

I am assuming renting a small studio space with incoming 800 number...

A home studio without the 800 number would be much cheaper.
