I thought they were both pretty good, actually!

That final scene of the "Lisa runs away" episode--where Homer, Marge and Bart get "swallowed," "digested" and "evacuated" by that 50-foot museum model of the human anatomy--has to go down as one of the most classic "Simpsons" moments of all time! And Homer disguising himself as a robot to fight on "Robot Rumble" (in the second episode) may have been typical of his antics, but I still thought it was pretty damned funny.

I gotta say, for a show that's run for over 300 episodes, "The Simpsons" still shoots a lot more hits than blanks. IMHO, at least.

1. "IQ of 167! That's high for a Christian!"
One of many surprising and hilarious moments coming from the repukes' broadcast channel...

2. Watching the second one now...
I loved the first one with Simon Cowell. Now that the second one is playing, I recognize it. It's also a good one. I love this show. I just wish they were faster about releasing the DVDs.

4. I was watching this in the gym while working out
and I started laughing out loud (at the "evacuate" scene). A gal who was using one of the stationary bikes near the same TV looked at me and laughed too because she had been watching the same scene. It was laugh out loud funny.

5. My husband and I were wiping tears from our eyes after that...it was
that funny. It was a really good episode last night. Then we switched over to the show on Kamikaze pilots on the History channel, which was also excellent in a sobering way. :hi:
