I'm bored.
Ask me something. Tell me something. Make me laugh. Tell a joke. Stop in to say hi. Something. Anybody. Please?
I usually don't beg, but I am really bored at work and I still have a few more hours to go.

I am really tired, and sweaty, from driving around all day (I-95 was a total mess), and being out covering this Little League game. I am sleepy but I am going to grab some drinks later. So, that's what's up with me.

What is up with you guys?

:) :hi:

1. hi there....
I'm bored too :P

Mr MB is cooking dinner though and I am also starving. We're having a grilled vegetable napoleon, pasta and grilled chicken pesto sausages :9

I spent most of the day driving around too, but that was so that I could be in the AC - it's really hot here today and we don't have AC at home.

Do you have plans for after work?

3. I'm avoiding my homework
And waiting for a call from my daughter. I'd tell you a joke but I can never remember them properly, so they're never funny. The only one I can ever remember is the one that goes -

If April showers bring May flowers, what do May flowers bring?

Pilgrims! :P

(my daughter learned that one in about 3rd grade. )

5. My dear bigwillq!
Aw, sweetie!

I am sorry you're bored...

I've had a pretty decent day, considering...

Khash's mom called and I helped her figure out some more DU stuff...

Luckily, he had an account on her computer, and he hadn't logged off, so she can access it...

I told her what a cool lady she is, and how glad I am we are becoming friends...

I just wish it could have been under different circumstances...

I hope my little story helps!

16. New Left Hipster
You are a New Left Hipster, also known as a MoveOn.org liberal, a Netroots activist, or a Daily Show fanatic. You believe that if we really want to defend American values, conservatives must be exposed, mocked, and assailed for every fanatical, puritanical, warmongering, Constitution-shredding ideal for which they stand.

19. Okay...here goes
"A couple of New Jersey hunters are out in the woods when one of them falls to the ground. He doesn't seem to be breathing; his eyes are rolled back in his head. The other guy whips out his cell phone and calls the emergency services. He gasps to the operator, 'My friend is dead! What can I do?' The operator, in a calm soothing voice says, 'Just take it easy. I can help. First, let's make sure he's dead.' There is a silence, then a shot is heard. The guy's voice comes back on the line. He says: 'OK, now what?'"

Now...how is it that 1. You're actually bored on a Saturday (that's the day I have the most to do, what with stats and all), and 2. You've only got another hour? I'm here until probably midnight.

I've been pretty good...busy. How've you been?

26. We're really slow now.
Summer is like that here.

I covered a game at 2...well I left my house at 12:15 b/c the game was 45 minutes away but it took me 1 1/2 hours b.c of traffic.

So I figure my day started when I got in my car so I am only staying until 9.

I am ok. I am really getting sick of work though. I am really considering changing fields but I don't know what I want to do or where I want to go.

See, you turn 30 years old and you go through all these life changes. You begin to ponder what the hell else is out there, feel me?

30. I started pondering all that stuff
when I hit 25. By 30 I was chasing kids up and down stairs and I didn't have time to ponder much more than the spray paint the 2-year-old used to decorate the bathroom.

I know what you mean, though. I also know that you'll work it out. A lot of people are leaving the field, it seems. It's kinda sad and it's very scary.

36. Meh...
s'okay. The 2-year-old in question is now in college so the spray paint was papered over a long time ago. These days I'm more likely to be rolling my eyes at his little brother (14 years old and in the throes of punk-hood...kid goes through more Rave in a week to put up his 'hawk than I use in 3 months. Yesterday I was on my way to work and passed him on his way home...carrying a drum set. Just shoot me now.)

It's just a phase. Right? Right?!?

I hope you're closer to the end of your workday/night now.

What's the weather like in your neck of the woods? It was in the mid 90s and extremely humid in the ATL today.

Have a good rest of the evening!
