and help out with the pizza, cake, etc.

So she's coming along and bringing a friend.

19. Next week.
She's young for her year, but went to kindergarten at 5 because she was ready to go.

Most folks I know here, with a child who has a July birthday hold them back a year. I don't believe in that. I didn't want my kids to be in the 8th grade and driving.

7. Get ready, Shell! This will be you faster than you know it.

She originally wanted to go to the movies and then come back here for pizza and cake, but the thought of that many kids with all that energy made my blood run cold.

Last year, her party was here at the house. It was outside until it started to rain and then the lights went out.

I'm still trying to recover from it.

11. Here's the link
www.pumpitupparty.com

It's a party place with inflatables. Great for wearing their little asses out completely.

Brand new. Just opened about 1 month ago.

12. No way. These are the same
competitive type inflatables we have at post prom. There's an obstacle course, a jousting bar. It's a lot of fun.

She's so excited she can hardly stand herself.

13. We have a low-rent thing like that in the town where I live.
It was amazing... unlike the game places, the kids literally disappeared into those bouncy things and didn't come back till pizza / cake time.

And yeah, they serve beer at this one. Hope it's better than you expect. :)

25. Try this:
Try taking 140 inner city 11th graders to an opera at Chandler Pavilion, or to a concert at Disney Hall in downtown L.A.

Try taking 35-40 10th, 11th, and a few 12th graders to Spain, France, and Italy for two weeks (all at the same time, planes, trains, automobiles, security checks, passport issues, horrors, drama, losing as few kids as possible). When you do that you'll know why they invented heroin!!

I'm not kidding.
