90-year-old groom marries 88-year-old bride
OKLAHOMA CITY - When we think of newlyweds, we usually think of young couples starting their lives together.

But Oklahoma's James Shepherd is 90, and his new bride Mary Manners is 88.

James outlived two previous marriages, but found love once again when he and Mary started seeing each other two years ago.

Mary's daughter, Betty Bolerjack, performed the service.

My mother married for the second time at 71. She and her husband had nearly 15 happy years before his Alzheimer's disease became noticeable. However, he still recognizes her and breaks out into smiles when he sees her.
