CBR files? WTF? (Cyanide and Happiness)
OK, I just downloaded 946 'Cyanide and Happiness' strips.

But they came archived in something called a CBR extension. Googling I found this:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comic_Book_Archive_file#Adoption

The Comic Book Archive format is a compressed archive which uses one of several popular compression file formats. The files may be opened using the appropriate compression program simply by changing the file extension, depending on the file format:

* .cbr →.rar
* .cbz →.zip
* .cb7 →.7z
* .cbt →.tar
* .cba →.ace

Maybe it's just me but this seems rather idiotic to me. Creating an entirely unique file extension that is exactly the same as a previously existing extension? :wtf:

1. There is a program designed for reading CBR files in full screen and such.

2. Or....
One can simply rename the file, open it with a standard unpacker and view the images with a standard image viewer. What, we're supposed to install special software to view comics?

3. Apparently.
I didn't realize they were essentially RAR files, that makes life a little easier.

4. I tend to avoid installing unecessary software
My Total Commander file manager handled it just fine. I don't know if it's programmed to recognize the extension or if it opened the file and recognized it as a rar file. In either case, it works.

I'm proposing a new file standard: The BFZ file extension will be exactly the same format as a normal zip file, but it will be used soley for distributing Brazilian Fart porn. You will need to purchase to dedicated unpacker and viewer which I will be selling to rubes who are unable to rename files.
