For me it was a couple weeks ago. Funny how I simply can't remember what it was about- only that it was the best feeling I'd had in a long time.

It was GREAT.

9. Probably about 18 years ago when I was working on my masters at...

...Memphis State. One of my roomies - a great songwriter and musician - had just recently been released from rehab, and we were sitting downstairs in the house we were renting. Off the cuff, he started singing songs he was making up on the spot. Let's just say, his songs made John Prine look like a choirboy. I've never before, or since then, laughed so much in my life.

11. One night a cable channel was showing a

local "beauty" pageant. It was one of the most pathetic yet hilarious things I've ever seen. (I'm no beauty, either, but I would never in a million years try to pass myself off as one.) I laughed so hard it hurt.

19. At work, a couple years ago, when someone brought a fart toy to work.

It operated by remote control, so you could set the device by anyone and operate it by a remote control device from a distance.

It was fucking hilarious, LOL! One lady got up and ran away from her desk, because the device was at her feet while we were setting it off, and she was embarrassed half to death, ROTFLOL!

Another lady had it under her desk, and pretended to be cool and quiet about it. She knew it was coming from her area, but also knew she wasn't the one farting. LOL!

I was about 8 feet away, setting off the remote, and she finally asked me very seriously if I was having stomach troubles. I just about laughed my ass off! LOL!

Why are bodily functions so damned funny? Other stories, for another time, LOL!

21. Couple of weeks ago.

I was reading something here on DU (don't even recall what it was now) and laughed so hard I literally had tears running down my face.

22. yesterday

I was describing my current condition to my sister on the phone. Left foot immobilized in a boot, stitches across my face, my cheek was all swollen up like I'd been in a good bar brawl, I was propped up with pillows because unrelated to that I hurt my back, and while I was telling her this, my laptop took a dive off my headboard a few feet above me, landed on my head and bounced hard off my shoulder.

23. A few weeks ago at DA's house

we'd spend the day at the "Porcelain Palace" and various coffee shops. When we got back to her house, we took photos using her webcam and a photobooth program. She's posted a few of them. It was like the hall of mirrors at the carnival.
