1. Saw it last night too!
The statue of liberty holding a hamburger instead of a torch was too much.

The dog captured the essense of all that is canine.

It was wonderfully absurd in many ways.

Favorite animation sequence: pedal-boating across the ocean.

5. My favorite thing was the colors
I was amazed at the emotions that the colors evoked in me.

6. And the music is great!
Only the second movie sound track I ever bought, the other was "Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulin" which I just saw again the other day. Still great. A feel-good movie without being too sugary.

12. Listening to it right now
And it's sweet. I only wish he (Ben Charest) would have expanded on some of the compositions.

10. I think so.
I loved it...I found it understated, not boring. too much Disney/Bakshi-fied American animation is so preoccupied with flashing lights and zooming fast paced visuals and manipulative heartstring-tugging that I found it refreshing to see such a well crafted piece of art whose creator was kind enough to let the story flow rather than push everything at lightning speed in all different directions. It's the difference between feeling an emotion and recognizing that a filmmaker is pushing your buttons, forcing you to feel something.

And the music was awesome.

11. I liked the animation but not the movie as a whole.
The plot didn't do it for me. Loved the visuals. Dog dreams were the best...
