F*** that!

But I made it through. Why do I have such a problem with summer? It's a curse!

Bring back the clouds, mist and rain. I'm ready for Labor Day right now.

This morning I took my grandkids to see a preview of "Space Chimps" -- at a nice cool theater! I'll be reviewing the movie on 7/18/08 when it opens here.

Did a few errands in my coolest dress -- almost burned my hands on the steering wheel when I got in my car.

It was cool in a local Mexican restaurant (Sandoval's -- great food!) where we had a light dinner and split a "FLAN" for dessert.

It's going to be cooler for the next seven days.

I am definitely still a Winter Babe!

2. Beautiful flowers! I am not familiar with them. The gardener in this family is Audio Al.

You'll find me in the shade with a tall mint julep and a big hat!

Or surface diving to the bottom of a local swimming pool less than a mile away.

Flowers are beautiful here, in Florida, in Hawaii and in meadows all across the land. I try to enjoy them as much as I can... through the windows of an air-conditioned car or in brief sprints into the heat.

I prefer snow and misty rain.

Nice to see you, TA. Thanks for your welcoming words.

Cordially,

Lady Ellen in Alpen Knolls

3. On a positive note, maybe the high temps will kill that ugly fucking ugly tree Al bought yesterday.
