Anyone have a new iPhone yet?

2. At this time they are made of Unobtainium.

I am not inclined to stand in line and wait for hours for the latest hot gadget, but I need a new phone because my old cell phone just crapped out and my Nextel contract has expired. So I stopped by on my way home from work, found out they'd all sold out first thing in the morning, so I've got one back-ordered, should arrive in a week to 10 days.

3. Which apple store did you go to?

I did not go get one either, I want to see what the software update give me first. Then I will make my decision.

4. I figured the Apple Store at the MOA would be a zoo,

so I went to an AT&T store in Highland Park. They had sold out within an hour of opening, and they said the Apple Store sold out within 3 hours. I also heard there were some problems initializing the phones this morning.

I also heard the software update itself was having some issues, I have not plugged it in today at all, for fear it would mess up my iPhone.

The fact they were all gone surprises me, when I got mine on the last first day, I had no problems going after work to get one.

edit: I did not know there was an apple store in Highland Park. Where is it?
