Hey, if flippin' burgers becomes a manufacturing job...
:eyes:

Does that mean workers' wages will go up to what the median manufacturing job's income is?

5. That picture is just SICK! :-)

Two reasons:

1. Having a McManufacturing job, I wouldn't be able to afford the necessities for myself, let alone raising another - whether it be child or adult...

2. That shameless McPandering is just gross. (edit: Not the kids themselves, who are adoreable, but the costumes...)

4. I don't think wages will rise because of the 'unintended consequences' ...
......of the new overtime rules. You see the poor schmuck who knows what button to push on the French fry machine will probably lose his overtime due to the highly trained nature of his position. :evilfrown:

7. Assistant managers will average a little more
When I worked fast food a few years ago, assistant managers were salaried at around $20,000 and worked 55 hours per week. Doesn't the overtime law say that overtime must be paid to anyone making under $23,000. Their starting salary will be $23,000 and they will probably be required to work even more. Most regular workers work less than 40 and would be sent home early so the assistant managers could work more so that shouldn't be affected.
