4. You're right - the kid in the curling rink is WAY too cute!
Vancouver is a fabulous city. If I had to leave Fairbanks, I'd head for there, or to Whitehorse (great town, super friendly folks).

Thanks for the great pics, HeyHey!

I used to live there too..love that town!! I also worked for the Jazz Festival for 4 years too.
Nothing like an all access pass and cruising the nightlife and working 18 hour days and grooving on some sweet tuneage!

6. Your fave trail looks like our yard.
Imagine being about twenty feet up in those trees sitting at the computer. That's where i am now, up in the loft. Pretty ain't it?

9. I remember Downtown Vancouver
I used to make deliveries of cheese on the street under the bridge. That place is a hell of a place to drive a rig I'll tell ya.

11. I had to back it in an alley
Took 20 minutes and with a flagger sheesh. But we eventually got them to unload on a side street and bring the forklift. It's a nice city though. Only saw it snow there twice.

17. Hey hey those are excellent pictures
I miss living in Vancouver - that's where I grew up. I think you're pretty cute too. I'm not complaining about living in Victoria though - it's a great place to live, just not as exciting as Vancouver.

Enquiring minds want to know - did you get that job you wanted?

18. Man, would I love to visit Vancouver.
Stop of at Calgary along the way. Never been to the west coast and I have no excuse. My cousin is an asst. attorney general for washington state and I ought to go out that way. If I ever do Vancouver will definately be a stop.

It's really the only time this town is worth visiting.
