Don't call your surgeon, even he says its too late
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FtLotjNOEaA

Princess cards she sends me with her regards,
Oh, bar-room eyes shine vacancy
To see her you gotta look hard
Wounded deep in battle, I stand stuffed like some soldier undaunted
To her cheshire smile I'll stand on file
She's all I ever wanted
You let your blue walls stand in the way of these facts, honey
Get your carpet baggers off my back
Girl give me time to cover my tracks
You said, "Here's your mirror and your ball and jacks"
But they're not what I came for
Oh I came for so much more
And I know you that too
And I know you know that's true

I came for you
I came for you
I came for you
For you
I came for you

Crawl into my ambulance
Your pulse is getting weak
Reveal yourself all to me now
While you've got the strength to speak
'Cause they're waiting for you at Bellevue
With their oxygen masks
But I could give it all to you now
If only you could ask
Don't call for your surgeon
Even he says it's late
It's not your lungs this time
But your heart holds your fate
Don't give me my money back
Don't want it anymore
It's not that nursery mouth I came back for
It's not the way you're stretched out on the floor
I've broken all your windows
And I've rammed through all your doors
Who am I to ask you to fight my wars
And you should know that's true
You should know that too

I came for you
I came for you
I came for you
For you
I came for you

Don't call for your surgeon
Even he says it's late
It's not your lungs this time
But your heart holds your fate
Don't give me my money back
Don't want it anymore
It's not that nursery mouth I came back for
It's not the way you're stretched out on the floor
I've broken all your windows
And I've rammed through all your doors
Who am I to ask you to fight my wars
You should know that's true
You should know that too

I came for you
I came for you
I came for you
For you
I came for you

3. she's been very successful there
I worried about her 'cause one of their choppers crashed a few months after she started killing everyone on board. The crew I've met aren't just about thrill seeking (although that has to be a factor) they are very dedicated to what they do, working as a team, their patients, and each other.

They are a close knit group. closer knit than any group of people that work together I've ever worked with. although I think the trauma they see and work with bonds them in a way that is hard to describe.

She gets paid well

her thrill seeking is less of a thrill than that to me, but that is routine to her.

5. I know a few air medics as well...
I think there is an element of thrill seeking involved with any type of first responder, fire fighter, police officer. There has to be. It is the adrenalin junkie. Thing with these guys is they don't fly high enough for parachutes...that gave me pause for thought.

speaking of danger...check this out:

8. Oh yeah, I saw that earlier or yesterday
now that is an adrenalin freak :scared:

all that juice going through their body and hanging on a helicopter then climbing on the cable. good lord... :yoiks:

well the person I speak of is my sister... and I guess she has always been the type that if something really exciting wasn't going on, she would get sleepy. So, yeah she's always been an adrenalin junkie

11. Hey, it's the thought that counts
I enjoyed remembering the song.

And for some reason, it got me digging in my (very faulty) memory bank for some Ian Hunter? So that was fun.
