Should I bait my mousetrap with pinapple?
I figure it'd be a good choice, it's so sweet and all.

I heard some other ideas...but I don't wanna by bacon or peanut butter...what else could work?

2. Peanut butter!
I swear, the smell gets them fast! If you put peanut butter on the trap, time it, I promise you will have your mouse within 5 minutes (if it is under your kitchen sink for example, if you leave it in the "open" you will have to wait until you go to bed and your house in quiet)

3. Wad up a piece of bread
Actually, mouse traps are kinda pointless, if you've got one, you've got twenty.

The most effective way is a box of Dee-Con placed under the sink in both your kitchen and bathroom, that's usually where they get in, and it's safe and out of the way.

5. Get those mouse boxes with the toe glue....
They're pre-baited, just put them down. The mouse comes for the bait, their toeseses get stuck, and they can't get away. Check it EVERY day so the mouse doesn't starve. Once you've got one, take it far away (or to the house of somebody you don't like), pour cooking oil in the bottom of the box to release the glue, and it'll scamper away, generally unharmed.

20. Why don't you want to buy peanut butter?
It works great, plus you can make yummy cookies with the rest of the jar.
