My "problem" is back...
Here he is, hopping back into my lap as I started grading papers this morning. If I try to keep working, he rubs his cheek against my neck or my cheek. And he purrs and purrs. But I have tests to grade, and lab reports, and homework. But he's so adorable!

1. I have a big black problem just like yours
and if I don't give him his due, he will love me till I want to scream!

The remedy...catnip! Get him high!

3. I do the same thing when mine get needy
and clingy and I absolutely have to get something done, or leave the house or whatever.... haul out the catnip! It's a wonderful distraction!

4. It's working! He's definitely happy now.
I switched the catnip bags... I store a set of them in a jar with extra catnip. That keeps them fresh. When I say "fresh drugs" the cats come running. I give them the fresh bags and put the ones that are out back in the jar to be refreshed.

14. Alas, it wore off...
so I put in the Catnip Video DVD for him. He's mesmerized by the little birdies and squirrels. This cat is Mr. Attitude.

7. Nah... they want to know what they had on their tests...
They were in after school yesterday wanting to know if I'd graded them yet. So far, the kids did really well! I am so happy about this - this unit lays the foundation for the next and it looks like the transition will go smoothly.

Ricky is now curled up sleeping in a drug induced stupor. I'm trying to make the most of it - yet I'm hanging out on DU. Wonder if that's why I really don't get any work done and Ricky is just a convenient excuse?

10. I think you may be on to something. This place is also the reason

that I stay up way too late typing appraisals that really shouldn't take that long to type...yet still end up taking three or four hours. :) Better to have something or someone to blame though. :7

We'd miss you too much if you were actually working.
