My Netscape 7.1 crashed the other day
and I lost my personal address book entry's. Found a backup buried deep in a Mozilla file but can not get it to import back to Netscape.
Any solutions?

1. Here you go...

Since you have found the file where it is all stored, you have gotten half the battle won...

Create a new account and reference it to that file/folder where you found it.
You want to change the local directory. You will find that under server settings for that account...

Did you lose mail with that too?

2. No--just the addresses
If I import the backup file, abook.mab.bak, it comes up as gibberish
Thanks
