I love the blue heron. We see them here (So. MD) frequently. I'm going to miss them when we move home to California.

16. Herons and Egrets are related but different

Like Hawks and Falcons..Generally around here, Egrets are mostly white, while many herons are darker colored.

That may be one of the best shots of Peregrine Falcons I've seen.

The Peregrine is one of the ideas I have for a next tattoo, or an owl.
