2. The first concert I went to was in 1968. The opening band was Spirit.
The main attraction was Blood, Sweat and Tears.

Phoenix Veterans' Colosseum.

4. When I was 14 or so....
BS&T played on my high school football field which was a block from my home.

I wasn't going to go, but it was a late summer night, and I heard them play from out my window. So, I ran down there, sat on a hill near the football field, and enjoyed the hell out of the music, even though I could not see them.

Good memories. :hi:

5. Fairly Well, Sir
They did decent covers of a couple of Laura Nyro songs.

11. The Title Of My Favorite, Sir, Escapes Immediate Recollection
But it opens with:

"I'm not scared of dyin' and I don't really care
If it's peace you find in dyin' well then let the time be near."

The other was 'Wedding Bell Blues', one of the lady's lesser efforts to my mind.

Wife, then girlfriend, loved Ms. Nyro to pieces, and still does.

They just popped into my head....
They were popular in my early teens, and they had some good music.

Good Morning, Elshiva :hi:

12. Hi, philboy.
Good morning.

What goes up must come down
Spinnin' wheel got to go 'round
Talkin' 'bout your troubles it's a cryin' sin
Ride a painted pony let the spinnin' wheel spin

You got no money and you got no home
Spinnin' wheel all alone
Talkin' 'bout your troubles and you never learn
Ride a painted pony let the spinnin' wheel turn

Did you find the directing sign on the
Straight and narrow highway
Would you mind a reflecting sign
Just let it shine within your mind
And show you the colors that are real

Someone is waiting just for you
Spinnin' wheel, spinnin' true
