Life without a postcount blows.
I keep writing things excepting to see another number on my postcount, but no. All I get is the eternal "1000+" display.

2. You can always keep your own count and add it to each post, if it really
means that much to you. I do sort of miss them myself and sneak a peak ever so often to see where I am.

10. When I Joined in Sept 2001...
...the post counts weren't displayed. That was on of the admins' early "surprise" upgrades.
