Southpark movie is amazing

Awright, I just watched the Southpark movie for the very first time. And OMG, that is the funniest movie I have ever seen. Fave song in the movie has to be "Blame Canada"(hey, they're not even a real country, right?). I absolutely love how this movie's viciou satire spares absolutely no one while at the same time pointing out the ridiculousness of American moral standards.

p.s. Also can't stop singing "Uncle Fucka". I love this movie

Not only is it a poke in the eye to all the Disney/Dreamworks-animation-as-musical movies, it's a blatant finger to the censors. Yes, hilarious--high-freaking-larious, in fact--but it makes a HUGE political statement at the same time.

10. I saw it in the theatre...

It was the coolest movie experience I've had in terms of the enthusiasm from the crowd, etc... everyone was singing the 'Kyle's mom's a Bitch' song and clapping rythmically, etc.. the audience was just a really cool crowd and was way into it.. we were clapping and cheering.. great fun

So many times throughout that movie I was laughing so hard my sides hurt.. I almost fell out of the chair..

11. Some of the musical bits were lame, but others were GREAT!

It takes time getting used to the "Uncle F*****" song as it's somewhat disturbing... though I dug the rap version...

But the one ditty about "What would ___ do?" (I forgot the name but wasn't he a Canadian skater or something?) was hilarious.

Oh, it's a hilarious movie. The Saddam/Satan subplot was to die for as well, ROTFLMAO!!

Still, Matt and hottie Trey would be just as well off denouncing pornography by showing two people porking, with close-ups on the good bits... :evilgrin: Hey, they had Saddam in bed 'waving' to Satan... :D

15. Saw it in the theatre when it opened...

the theatre manager came in and made a little speech before the show started about how the movie had some rough language and asked those people who had children there to reconsider if they wanted their children to see it. I've never seen that happen for any other movie I'd ever seen.

Of course, it wasn't long after the movie started, Uncle Fucka had me on the floor laughing, close to peeing my pants.

When back to the theatre to see it again the same week... A classic film!

The Terrance and Phillip, "Not Without My Anus" April Fool's episode was great too! The first appearance of Saddam in a South Park episode. I know that many did not like that episode, but I have to agree with Matt and Trey, that it is without a doubt the best South Park episode. Comedy Central never reruns it though.

If you've never seen it, look for Orgazmo. Another classic Trey Parker film!!
