SOUTHWEST GREENSBURG, Pa. -- A Southwest Greensburg man injured his neighbor with a running weed eater during a backyard dispute, police said.
William Bell suffered hand and leg wounds after telling Gary Wright to get off his property on Sewickley Street, according to police.
He pointed the weed whacker at my husband while it was going full-speed, and my husband put his hand up to stop it from hitting his face, and at that time, he injured his hand," Denise Bell said on Wednesday morning.
Neighbors told Channel 4 Action News reporter Jennifer Miele that this isn't the first time Wright, 67, has been accused of violence in the community.
Wright was convicted of punching a teenage neighbor who parked in front of his home, Miele reported.
He was arrested for allegedly spraying another neighbor with a power washer in a case that was thrown out of court, Miele reported.
And he was charged for allegedly harassing an 80-year-old neighbor who promised to drop the charges if he moved, Miele reported.
