Cat comparison - do these guys look alike?

On the left, our beloved late Simba. On the right, our beloved little Sunny. What do you think?

I'm experimenting with the Firefox split screen add-on and thought this would be a good one to do, as I'd been mentally comparing little Sunny to Simba.

I think anyway. And they each have a little point on the outer edge of their eyes.

The only time I ever had an orange cat my best friend kind of kidnapped him from me.. I think it was his little King look, my friend had to have him. Maybe someday I'll have one I get to keep.

It appears that Sunny's nose is more pink and he's a bit lighter colored, but that could be the light quality on the picture!

Otherwise, face shape, eye shape, etc. are extremely similar.

Did Simba depart this plane before Sunny was born? If so, do you think Sunny is the reincarnation of Simba?
I'm serious. I think my Oliver is the reincarnation of the late great Max Fitzmorris. Both are orange tabbies too.

8. Simba died on July 1, 2007 and Sunny was born August 1, 2007

We've been looking for signs, but so far I don't really see any. Simba was a huge lapsitter, while Sunny only deigns to even sit next to our legs about once a month. Sunny also lies with his back legs stretched out behind him, while Simba never did that. Simba was not a wild kitten, while Sunny is an attack cat. I'd like to believe that Simba returned to us, but they're really very different purrsonalities.

...have you ever know two cats with identical personalities? I certainly haven't and I've had a ton of cats.
I'd say that, even reincarnated, Simba would probably try a new personality. There are, remember, those
9 lives to get through, and variety is the spice of life, er, lives.

12. Hard to tell because of the lighting difference.

13. Pretty darn close. It could just be the photo,

but Simba looks a little darker, and his snout looks to be ever-so-slightly slimmer than Sunny's.

Sunny has bigger radar and a pink nose. My guess would be that Simba's a male and Sunny's a girl.

I have a mother and son whose differences are a little more pronounced, yet after a dozen years, I still have to look closely to tell who's who.

14. You're half right - both are (were) males

We got them at about the same ages, Simba in 1995 and 2007. Forgot to mention that Simba had the typical tabby stripes all over his body, while Sunny only has them on his legs and tail - his body is pretty much one color. He's a very unusual cat!

I think just Sunny's ears are larger than Simba's. They are adorable. :)
