so DON'T READ IF YOU DON'T WANNA KNOW ABOUT THIS SEASON.
LAST WARNING
Eh, I'm spoiling heahr.
okay, here goes.
the family moves to the border of CA/MX. they stay with Andy's father, Nancy's f-i-l, played by Albert Brooks... seriously, not as a joke, mostly.
Celia is in jail and trying to finger Nancy as the drug kingpin. so far no one believes her.
Conrad and Heylia are gone. hopefully just for now. I cannot believe they would let them go. last season was soooooo good when U-Turn took Nancy on as a captain to further her descent into a world with the same rules, only different, since they involve guns a lot. And moving Heylia and her daughter into the suburb. I really liked her daughter's character, too. she could really puncture Heylia's self-righteousness.
while it was hard to see, in a way, it made sense for Nancy to latch onto and go deeper into this something that she's good at, that pays well, and that offers some sense of excitement since her suburban world was turned upside down when she lost her upper middle class mom existence.
(I can, unfortunately, relate in many ways, except not the upper part or the life of crime part, tho I wish I had the guts some days.)
Anyway, Guillermo is still on the scene. She's going into biz with him as an importer... bigger danger, bigger rewards. It's the capitalist way. It worked for bootlegger Joe K. Survive and we all become respectable with enough $$ in the U.S. -- or anywhere, it seems. we are fucked up mammals, huh?
Where is Doug? He has to stay in the cast, I hope. drug kingpins need accountants they can trust.
