Mmmm ... Black raspberries! Fat, black, and ripe ...

I found some growing not so far from my apt. today. Apparently, most of the "blackberries" I ate as a young'un were actually black raspberries. It seems I was deluding myself all along.

These had a bit more seeds than I'd like, but pretty good.

Later, I picked real blackberries at work. It looks like the local patch is good for about two handfuls a day for now. Strawberries for dessert. Someone in groundskeeping snuck them into the landscaping, and no one seems to remember they are there.
