1. get some topical analgesic, with capascin and/or salicylate in it . These things
warm up the muscle and relax it. Have someone poke around on your upper back to see if there is a knot in the muscle between your shoulder blades and your spine. Deep pressure on those knots can work wonders, and that is where the cream or patch should go.
