I guess I need to watch more television. I was not even curious about them until 2 days ago. I was listening to the morning show on the radio at the bus stop and they had asked people to call in with their strangest fears. One lady called in about the quiznos commercial and I thought it was really strange but my 10 year old informed me they really were scary looking so curiousity got the better of me.

There was a good article on the ad campaign in the Austin-American Statesman yesterday about how it was generating a lot of attention among consumers. The creatures are based on a breed called "spong monkeys" (from the U.K.)

Quiznos is considering ordering another cycle of this ad campaign, the article hinted at the possibility of maybe even stuffed animals and/or a cartoon.
