I love my town: VFW members burned down our traveling meat wagon

in the parking lot of the bowling alley.

One of the butcher shops in town rents out what they refer to as the "B&B Wagon". It is hauled by a trailer and equipped with the necessities to prepare and serve food to the public.

Last week I was driving past the bowling alley and saw that the VFW had it set up in the parking lot and was selling hot dogs and brats out of it.

The next day I was informed that the VFW members running the wagon had "burned it down in the parking lot."

No one was hurt and I'm certain there was insurance on the wagon, so I feel okay about laughing my ass off about it. It's just bizarre and funny.

1. When I was in the Jaycees, we had a trailer set up for food concessions

Called it the Roach Coach.



It kinda got condemned after somebody's foot went through the floor, so we gave it to the fire department for practice. :)
