Should I go and harrass him? Or do you think they'll be enough other people to do that? Supposedly, he's talking business, Halliburton, and the 2004 elections (eeek!)

1. Don't harass him...that's rude.
He has every right to run, if he wishes.

I doubt that Kerry people would be too kindly if I went to a Kerry stump speech and harassed him either.

3. yeah, well it's different.
I might not like Kerry and I definitely am not voting for him in the primaries. But he's not going to possibly get Bush reelected to another 4 years, either. Sorry, the Supreme Court is too important to me. My right to choose is sacred.

6. Well, I don't think it's different.
I got detailed as security for a Gore event here in 2000.

There were tons of Greens that tried a lot of clever tricks to infiltrate the site and harassment was their only issue.

If it's wrong to do it to you, It's wrong to do it to them.

There are other means to protest.

The most effective way is obviously, not vote for them.

And, convince others to do the same.

Monkey-wrenching is wrong.

11. What difference does it make if Nader runs?

I'm guessing that a lot of the Nader voters from 2000--and I was one of them--understand that this election has too much hanging in the balance to use the ballot box merely to make a statement.

I, for one, plan to vote for Kucinich in the primaries, and for the eventual Democratic nominee (presumably Kerry) in November. And considering how disgusted I was with the Democratic party leadership four years ago, that's saying a heap!

Would you like to know just how disgusted I was with the so-called "New Democrats?" In the spring of 2000, Al Gore visited my workplace. I asked my boss if I could go in late that day so I wouldn't have to meet Gore and risk telling him something that would embarrass the people who signed my paychecks!

This election, however, is profoundly different. There's a time to vote your conscience, and a time to vote pragmatically. This year, it's clearly the latter. And I'm quite certain that the lion's share of the Nader voters from 2000 also see it that way.

As such, I wouldn't worry about Nader running again. If he does, he'll just be wasting his time.
