My dad is eventually going to give me his 99 Ranger. But he has to buy a car for my mother and then one for my sister first. I'm third rung at the moment. So I'm stuck.

I've been in a similar boat. Good thing my dad was retired at the time, so he and mom could live on one car after he gave me his old Mazda truck.

Come to think of it, every car I ever owned except the one I bought new once belonged to my parents. What can I say? They make me good deals.
