Cool! Nice that they're keeping the Target Center in with the times... though they're using "Target" over "Daytons" to try to fool the people into thinking it's for the common folk (the prices within sure aren't though...)
I do agree that the Metrodome is in a dumb location. So was the 2004 ice palace (which was nowhere as cool as the '86 and '92 versions), is it always a republican administration that thinks of the stupidest place to put popular attractions?!
But I disagree that they all need separate stadiums (I gather the Gophers want their own stadium too as well...) Let alone the idea that taxpayer funds should go to a structure used and enjoyed by a small portion of society, that's also used by big corporations to throw up gigantic advertisements of their logos... (Let's see, I go to a game and see a big-arse sign for, what the heck, "Butch Jeans". Yes, seeing their logo makes me want to go out and buy 50 pairs of Butch Jeans... :eyes: Seeing an intermission advert of two people in foreplay while wearing the jeans does nothing for me either, I could care less if it was a heterosexual couple, homosexual couple, or an outright orgy of 20 people all wearing Butch Jeans... I don't see how a logo and an advert that shows everything BUT the product convinces people to buy the product... lunacy at it's finest...)
Expect Pawlenty to enact TABOR, destroy the public sector, and use the money to build stadiums for every billionaire repuke who asks for one paid for by all of us... x( :eyes:
