What's with all the kid pictures in threads

1. I don't even post pic's of our kids on our site

Never, Never, Never. I just don't think it's wise. I do not believe there is a CRISIS:scared: :scared: :scared: of child abductions, as most media outlets would like you to believe whenever there is a story that needs to be buried, but I do believe in good ole common sense (like - don't answer the door if I'm in the shower)

where the pics are stored...and the kids are just being kids, it's no biggie

I HAVE e-mailed people that I do not even know to warn them about what's on their webpage..

I stumbled across one once where the family had POSTED A MAP to their family babbeque (at their house) on the WEB..AND they posted pictures of their little girls in swimsuits at their pool, and running around the house in jammies..

I knew that they thought their website was only looked at by Gramma & Grampa, but it scared me. The Mom e-mailed me back and thanked me..

3. I posted a picture of my boys today but the

url wouldn't give you any information except the file name. I uploaded it through a service so that's as far as the information would go, I assume. Am I wrong? Should I be a bit more careful?

That has crossed my mind several times before and sick people might see the pictures.
