1. Here's a hint: at least two of the members went on to play with Black Sabbath

2. I'd say Dio, but they weren't a 70s band
I know that folks left and went on to Sabbath, and there seemed to be a new lineup every week.

11. Dio was pretty close since he and Blackmore founded Rainbow.
My favorite incarnation was the 2nd one with Cozy Powell on drums. Damn he was good! R.I.P Cozy!

28. Sorry about that, I was expecting a more rapid response to my OP
