A tornado watch has been issued for northern Illinois and northwest Indiana for a potential Saturday night storm that could also bring wind gusts up to 60 miles per hour.

The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for Cook, DuPage, Kankakee and Will counties that will remain in effect until 8 p.m.

7. The beagle's still at camp, since I was at Conference Annual Mtg
until mid-afternoon. I'll pick her up tomorrow. But the cats and I are okay. Thanks!

5. I don't quite understand it. It was windy--and it's hotter than hell--
I'm okay. I don't quite understand it. It was windy--and it's hotter than hell--but there was no active storm when the sirens went off. But I've lived in the Midwest long enough to know not to sit around analyzing. God made basements for a reason!

Everything seems fine now, though. We have a tornado watch until 8, and there are still some thunderheads around, but the wind has died down, and the sun is out. I think we're out of danger. I hope we're out of danger.

Thanks for any vibes! :hi:

11. Actually, it didn't look that bad out, which is why I was surprised.
But I've certainly seen clouds like that!!
