I didn't know you could grow amaryllis outdoors. I've only seen them at Christmas in pots. Are you in the south?

12. Yes, in central NC. The bulbs stay in the ground all winter

and then bloom in the spring. That particular one is I got from my grandfather's garden when he passed away.

He loved his amaryllis. He had beautiful pink ones and red ones.

Any further north and I think I'd have to dig up the bulbs in the winter and bring them in, and then replant them in the spring. But they do okay in the ground all year here.

9. Your garden looks beautiful and healthy, Ptah!
My garden looks absolutely terrible. It was cold and rainy all of May and now it is in the 90s. I'm going to start over since most of my tomato plants died.

:cry: (I don't have any pictures and if I did I would be ashamed to post them.)
