3. we had another hellacious thunderstorm last night
didn't lose my electricity this time, but had some big, big thunder and LOTS of rain. I think I'll have to mosey downtown today to see if the water has drained off the streets.

I got a local newspaper yesterday and there were 3 pp of storm pictures. One picture was at the intersection of a street downtown - one person was in a kayak and two ppl were in a canoe.

Instead of taking a shower, I think I'll just start taking off my clothes and running around in the backyard naked when the storms start. Have to remember to take the soap, too. If nothing else, I'll have some fun.

...just before they stick me in the straitjacket.

4. If you do
I'm sure temeah and DuStrange will be clamoring for the pictures...:)
I did hear the weather person say that the Bermuda high that is giving us really hot weather is bottling up the severe t-storms in the midwest (yeah, I'm a weather geek).
Sounds like you have a few days of t-storms ahead of you. Stay safe!:hi:

5. The heat index temp here is 87 degrees, and it isn't even noon yet.
We have one fan, which is currently propped up in front of the open front door, and I am sitting here melting in my seat. It has to be a hundred degrees inside this oven of a trailer. Argh.

Don't raise those eyebrows too far--that's in °C,
but even so, that's only in the low sixties °F,
and that's just too cold for this time of year!!

Summer is scheduled to fall on a Thursday in these
parts this year :banghead:

(you can never find some global warming when you need it)

11. FUCK!!!
last night the storm got into my house... I just found out. My son and a friend were in the basement earlier and didn't notice... ?!?!?!... that there was water on the floor.

been working on it.

I would like to strangle my other son. I told him we had gotten water in the basement and his reaction was "oh," and shut and lock his bedroom door. uh, no.

AAAAAAIIIIEEEEEEHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

and it's hot and humid outside like you wouldn't believe. miserable.

I found the wet-vac. put every fan I could find there. have a dehumidifier running.

this sucks big time. I had books in the basement to sell and some of them are damaged now... so they go in the round bin. shitshitshit.
