and then you can follow me out to the railroad tracks, where the whole school is gathered to watch me get in a fight with that bastard who made fun of me in home room, and I'm gonna kick his fucking ass if I can borrow a jacket I can punch in and....and....and....Shit!!! Sorry Heidi! ""Table at lunch" brought back some horrid memories! :hi:

3. School lunches are not among my most pleasant memories, either.
When I was in school, kids on free and reduced lunches had to get in a separate line from the rest of us, and that always struck me as completely mean-spirited and unnecessary. :grr:

There aren't many places meaner than the school lunch room, in my experience. x(

5. Of course they remember it.

My mom was a teacher in the district where I went to school and that practice chapped her ass, too; about 60 percent of the kids in our distrct were on free and reduced lunches. Why ostracize 60 percent of the student population just to make thinks more convenient for the district's accounting office? :grr:

6. I think Jr. High and High School...
fucks everyone up...for life.

There would be no need for adulthood anti-depressants if high school and Jr. High never existed.
