17. Is she live or on video?
"Adolf! Come and get it! Your clam cakes are getting damp!"

"Ten-four, Eleanor! Whew! Defoliating a victory garden certainly does work up an appetite!"

"You sit down, Father, and dig right in!"

"That's right! This afternoon, I'll be able to start digging the pit! If I can get some work out of that boy of yours, I can have the bunker finished by election day! Where is Peorgie, anyhow?"

"He's upstairs, helping Porcelain make the bed."

(squeaksqueaksqueaksqueak "Oh, Peorgie! Oh, my! Oh, my! Oh, my!")

"Peorgie! Peorgie Tirebiter!"

"Co... co... coming, Mother!"

"He's so good with the servants, Fred."

:D

11. Ooo, next you should check out Sanfillippo's amazing taxidermy museum
Edited on Sat Jun-07-08 09:24 AM by PeaceNikki
located in the basement of the unassuming Cress Funeral Home in Madison.

The room was filled floor to ceiling with taxidermy fish, raccoons, badgers, birds and SQUIRRELS! Over the years, Mr. Sanfillippo, who was a director of the funeral home, amassed a huge collection of squirrels that met with unfortunate accidents (ranging from automobiles to golf balls--leave it to a funeral director).

Meh, I didn't see it; just heard what others were saying about it, so...

'Course, for an accurate historical depiction, y'gotta watch this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tKXo_SG5G5E

(Naturally, the bit that applies doesn't start until 6:13. I've yet to find a Python clip wherein the bit I want is at the beginning.) x(

This is your captain speaking. Do not rush for the lifeboats. Women, children, red Indians, spacemen and
a sort of idealized version of the complete Renaissance man first!

Titanic exhibit will dock in Milwaukee
Artifacts from 1912 sinking to be shown

By JACKIE LOOHAUIS-BENNETT

Posted: Sept. 19, 2007

Would you survive the sinking of the Titanic? Visitors to the Milwaukee Public Museum will get to find out if they sink or survive when a major traveling exhibit, "Titanic: The Artifact Exhibit" comes here Oct. 9, 2008.

The exhibit will display artifacts from the Titanic recovered from the wreck site where the legendary ship went down on April 15, 1912.

In an eerie twist, visitors will receive a "White Star Line ticket" at the beginning of the show stamped with the name of an actual Titanic passenger. At the tour's end, ticketholders will learn if that passenger made it to the lifeboats or went down with the ship.

"The reality is that 1,500 people died on board Titanic," museum President Dan Finley said. "What's particularly moving about the exhibit is you don't know whether the ticket you hold will be for someone who lives or dies."

The Milwaukee Public Museum will localize the exhibit with displays about Wisconsin maritime disasters, including the Edmund Fitzgerald.

The exhibit is set to run through May 25, 2009. Arrangements for the show are pending final approval from the Museum Board.
