tomorrow is apple farm music and arts festival in Elmer N.J.

last year's headline act was Joan Armitrading with standout perfomances by Leon Redbone, Chris Smither and The Noth Mississippi Allstars who blew me away.

Tomorrow: Suzanne Vega, Marc Cohen, They Might Be Giants, The Smithrereens and more.

A day of music, art, crafts and FUNNEL CAKE.

Unfortunately, I can't stomach the amount of grease a funnelcake hangs onto. But offer me a big ol' slab of fried dough (elephant ear, whatever it's called depending on the region) and I'm in heaven.

2. fired dough, i used to get that every year at The Feast of St. Anthony in the north end.
miss that so much and the Arancini.
