woo hoo I lost 21 lbs.!!!!
I started cutting down on my sugar intake after the doctor told me I was border line diabetic. Since then I stopped eating candy and use Splenda in my coffee. I've been wearing size 44 trousers and today I found that they're too big on me and the 42's in my closet fit just fine. Man am I psyched!!!

3. at this point no
but I really need to lose 100 lbs. Yup that's right 100 lbs. After I became a firefighter I fell in with the wrong crowd. Lots of time sitting around waiting for the next alarm and consuming lots of fatty and sweet foods. Now with the help of my wife and friends I'm really looking at what I put in my mouth. I guess the secret is to not lose too much and have it come back.

11. Congratulations to you. That is fantastic.
when my husband was diagnosed diabetic, he switched to diet soda and started walking every day; dropped about 35 pounds. He still needs to lose at least another 30 but he has stayed insulin free since 1998.

16. Oh! I thought you meant that you were robbed in England!
I was worried there for a moment. I'm glad you're OK. And I hope they catch the muggers, those bastards!

17. awesome - congratulations
I wish I could lose 22 pounds, like I should..... I guess the first step would be actually trying, huh? I wear a 36 now, but was a 32 5 years ago - damn, I'm fat (I'm a little guy too - you being a firefighter, I'd assume you're bigger all around).
