We had an Alaskan Malamute (110lb dog!), and we loved doing that with him. He was a ton of work, tho. He passed away at the ripe age of 12, very old for a large breed dog and I just can't do another big dog right now. We showed him and did agility and he was in sled pulls, so like I said, a ton of work. :)

We rescued ours from the humane society. He'd been there for weeks. No one wanted the black cat. But he's such a love.

My daddy named her that and then I inherited her. And I HATE Tweety Bird, she's named after those cartoons, so we tried for years to change her name.. to Spain, Egypt, Coco.. but we kept going back to her name and it's okay now because we've said it so long I never think of that damn bird anymore.

I hate that people pass over perfectly nice cats just because they're black, it's dumb. Puddy will live a long time but someday I'll be trolling my local shelters for my 2nd black cat :evilgrin:

She was my best friend, truly. But she's dead. And it still hurts. I won't get another cat. I held one of my cats while the vet put her to sleep. I can't do any of that again.

But Stevie? She hated everyone, but mostly men. She'd had most of her teeth kicked out and her tail broken. And I knew I wanted her, took her a few more days to know she wanted me. But if I can't have my friend back, I don't want another.
